A new OCULUS image film

Ophthalmologists, opticians, optometrists and occupational physicians are familiar with OCULUS and its high-precision instruments. But does the specialist world actually know where and how these instruments evolve?
Some 280 employees work in the areas of research and development, production, administration and sales at company headquarters in the Hessian city of Wetzlar. OCULUS employees who speak to visitors on factory tours often receive looks of incredulity when they talk about the wide range of manufacturing activity at the Wetzlar-based workshop, production and assembly facilities – much of which involves handcraft.
OCULUS is a globally active enterprise with 8 subsidiaries and some 200 distribution partners in over 80 countries around the globe. But despite its worldwide success it is still a family-run business, not a mass producer.
OCULUS wants to demonstrate this to you! Take part in “We are OCULUS – a glimpse behind the scenes” and you will get a personal tour of the factory, meet some of its employees and learn about some of its work processes.
